Staircase Assembly.

Staircase Assembly.

Dave the carpenter and Trevor put the finishing touches on the hardwood steps with non slip decking boards.
The treads and the gentle rise will make it easy and safe to walk up and down for many years to come.
The Marlow job is coming along nicely!
Meanwhile, Nigel and Simon are erecting stock fencing and 5 bar gates in the deep snow of Assendon, Henley.

These panels have come up beautifully, sat on sleepers and attached to decking posts.

If snow clearing is required then do give us a call.

Snow Topped Rose Arch

Snow Topped Rose Arch

Battling the snow and freezing conditions to erect a rose arch on top of a timber cladded wall.
A hardwood staircase is being built as we speak, to work its way up the wall and turn in through the arch.
Two Phyllis Bide roses are to be planted both sides, in amongst the slabs.

While John re-lays the patio, Trevor is sealing the stone water feature with a clear liquid sealant to ensure the stone doesn’t become too porous and decrease the water levels. It also helps to stop frost getting into the stone and the pointing which could casue cracks. A good day’s work from both to start off 2013 for N.G.Allen Landscaping!

Thankfully the absence of rain and cold has allowed John to carry on with re-laying some concrete slabs in Marlow. Edging the patio with sleepers can make it look a little more modern. The lean mix base and then a 3:1 mix will ensure there will be no movement.
